My name is Charles Brown
and
I've kept my 'radar up and alert' for ways to deal with depression for over 30 years.
Why? Because I was a
depressed
teen who attempted suicide. (I truly can't believe I'm here to talk to
you now!) And I also saw what depression did to my sister and others close to me.
Notice I didn't introduce myself as "Dr. Charles Brown." That's
because I am neither a medical doctor nor am I a trained medical
professional. I am, however, an ordinary citizen who has
experienced extraordinary things when it comes to depression and its
effects.
